The final project is due In week 10.

I want each group to combine the Project proposal, ER model and Presentation into a Professional Proposal and submit as a group.

The details will be discussed in the class.

Do you guys want me to start working on this? My time this week is funky. I am out of commission on Friday and Saturday. I can start the work tonight and tomorrow. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

I asked for the details, but haven't gotten a response yet. So what dies everyone think, PowerPoint or paper? Sincere already have most of it in the ppt, it might be best to add a few pages to incorporate the ither two parts?

That's my thoughts. Hard to split this one up. Lol
I'm good with whatever we choose. Do we know when the due date is? Sometimes the last week is short for grading purposes.

This final is due by Sunday, got a response from the professor. No specifications on format just that all pieces need to be packaged together.

Final project instructions Empty My thoughts

Post  KamiNel Thu Mar 14, 2013 5:44 pm

Like I said before, I think 80% of it is already in the Powerpoint. I say we just add the ER and proposal to the powerpoint, or we can add ER and the powerpoint info and graphics to the proposal. I like adding it to the powerpoint as I think its cleaner and more professional looking plus would be the best way to present it to a group of executives. But I'm good either way.

What does everyone else think?

Abi - can you post the editable ppt file and proposal? So which ever way we choose we have access and ability to edit and add the other parts.
Who has the editable ER file? Can whoever that is please post that too?

Thanks,
Kami

Final project instructions Empty Rough Draft

Team,
I took all the parts from dropbox and the finals submitted for ok on this site into one powerpoint file.

I simple just added the previous two assignment, it's very text heavy in the first pages. Maybe we can create some graphics and move some of the info into the notes for the proposal section to make it flow better with the rest of the powerpoint.

Let me know what you all think. Again this is just a start and simply a combo of all the parts put into one format.

I think we can just keep it with powerpoint. Makes it easier. I came up with a simple logo for us, just to seem more professional.

Check it out:

Thanks Keilor! Can you email me that logo in jpg format so I can incorporate it?

Do each of you mind taking a page at the beginning and see if you can come up with a graphic and boil the text down to bullets, ill move the full text into the notes section. This way the beginning slides match the rest of the slides and aren't super text heavy.

Sound good and do able?? Ill take the last two pages before the ER diagram.

Here is the updated PPT with the logo Keilor created and the two pages that I added graphics to and put into bullet points.

FINAL: Calorie Chronicle FINAL PPT

I have a friend visiting tomorrow evening through Monday so I will be unavailable to work more on this after 7pm tomorrow, but I will check in to give my final approval. We have already gotten great grades on everything so far and since we are to just package them together then I'm not too worried about this as we are going above and beyond by adding some extra graphics, logo and putting it all into a powerpoint.

Final project instructions Empty Complete

Post  abiweb Sun Mar 17, 2013 3:23 pm

Good Afternoon Everyone,

The awesome PowerPoint that Kami put together, with one or two very minor changes, has been submitted. As always, the professor was advised that additional materials may be submitted by other group members. Thus, if you have a major objection that has not been shared, you have the opportunity to buttress the group work that we have done so far. Out of respect for all group members, please submit any documentation for group approval before submitting. Regardless of consent received, such an effort would nonetheless be meaningful.

Good luck to everyone in your continued studies!

Kind Regards,
Abi
